ESOL (English for Speakers of Other languages)

Whitechapel College is a centre approved by the Edexcel Board and City & Guilds to offer and arrange examinations for ESOL.

ESOL (Skills for Life) qualifications are designed for students whose first language is not English. A student can enrol at the age of 16.

The qualifications are available at three levels:
Entry
Level 1
Level 2
These levels are tested at standard appropriate to the national standard for literacy.

Examination and Assessment
Each level is separately assessed and can be taken individually at a time and date suitable for the student. Whitechapel College internally assesses the examination papers, but it is externally verified.
